Uli

This fable tells the story of Uli, a young monkey who becomes the guardian of her heart-flower bud, previously protected by her parents. A bud that will bloom when she finds love. But Zé Colher, her godfather, had an unexpected reaction when he saw the small heart-flower bud in her room. After experiencing a traumatic situation, how will Uli behave? Where will she find help? In this book, art and dialogue are presented as pathways to processing a violent event. It also offers support to children and families who have experienced abuse and, ultimately, can encourage and facilitate conversations about the topic and the importance of reporting it.
